Welcome

Welcome to HPComm.org. HPComm and HPGComm are free programs which allow you to transfer data between a PC, and HP graphing calculators.

HPComm and HPComm38 were developed by Jean-Pierre Bergamin and Mitch Davis.

HPGComm was developed by Jean-Pierre Bergamin with the helping hand of Colin Croft.

HPComm and HPGComm are also distributed by Hewlett Packard, as the official software in the "HP Graphing Calculator PC Connectivity Kit".

We produce two programs. HPComm is used for communicating with HP48 and HP49G calculators, and HPGComm is used for communicating with the HP38G, HP39G and HP40G calculators. The latest released version of HPComm is HPComm 3.0r4. The latest version of HPGComm is 2.0. You can visit the changes page to find what what is new and fixed. Or, you can visit the development page and beta-testing page for more information.

HPComm and HPGComm are Open Source software programs, and are licensed under the GNU General Public License. As such, you are entitled to receive a copy of the source code. If you'd like a copy, or would like to help with the development of HPComm or HPGComm, please visit the HPComm development page.

Please note, many computers running Windows 95 have a system library which has bugs. Symptoms of this are a weird-looking toolbar, and not being able to double-click on files or get right-mousebutton menus.

Windows 95 users should upgrade this library.
